2018 Bevan Cellars EE Cuvée Tench Vineyard, USA, California, Napa, Wine Review

This is a 60/40 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.  It is also a personal favorite of the Bevan lineup.  Purple in color, ruby at the rim, opaque and bright.  The nose is deep with cassis, black cherries, char, spice, tobacco, and cedar.  Full bodied.  Firm tannins.  On the palate,  this is deep and delicious.  Still on the younger side.  Flavors of black raspberries, black cherries, slight chocolate and spice.  Long finish.  This is drinking well on its own and will work with some foods.  If drinking in the next few years, give it some air.  A nice choice with a steak or prime rib but will also work with Grille Tofu in a Peanut Sauce.  Drink over the next twenty years.
