Urban Vintner is an Ohio winery making wine in Ohio from purchased grapes around the globe. Muddy Paws is their value line with $1 from every bottle going to the local animal rescue. The grapes for this wine are from Washington state. Light silvery green/gold in color. The nose has some peach and a bit of citrus. On the palate, this is slightly sweet with peach notes. There is also a bit of a minty quality on the finish. Not a lot of depth in this wine, but easy sweet wine. Those looking for this type of wine will probably like it more than I. Mostly a cocktail wine or with a nice cheese tray.

This is a "Bordeaux Blanc" styles wine from Washington state. It is 69% Sauvignon Blanc and 31% Semillon. Very impressive and a dead ringer for a Bordeaux white in style and quality. Light golden in color. The nose has apples, wax, sweet herbs, minerality and a touch of cedar. Light to medium bodied. Nice texture. On the palate, apples, slight citrus, wax with underlying minerality. Fresh and lively. Good acidity. Long finish. Versatile. This drinks great on its own and will work with with sea food, pork or fowl and also spicy Asian foods. Drink over the next few years for its

This is made with purchased grapes in northeast Ohio. It is their version off a white Bordeaux and features a 75/25 mix of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. Light golden in color, clear and bright. The nose is nice with white peach, slight wax, a hint of orange peel and spice. Lovely texture with just a wisp of tannins. Good balance. On the palate, peach and slight almond notes. Good finish. This is a solid version of a "white Bordeaux". Is is drinking well now, but should drink well for five to eight years. Nice on its own, this is very food friendly and worked well with an Eggplant
