This is a blend of 82% Syrah, 14% Mourvedre, and 4% Grenache. 15.87% ABV. Medium ruby in color (lighter than expected), mostly clear and bright.  The nose is big with big with black raspberries, black olives, black pepper and an interesting sort of celery seed note.  Full bodied.  Lush texture but enough acidity to work.  On the palate, the fruit is ripe and slightly sweet.  Black raspberries, black cherries with some black pepper and char.  Good finish.  Another huge wine that has aged but is still a huge wine.  It may be divisive for those who don't like the style.  Nice on its own and will work with big foods.  It would work nicely with Ribs off the grill.  Drink over the next ten years.
