I opened this to drink blind to start off one of my tasting groups annual parties.  Although it obviously has some age to it, it is drinking very well. Aged Chenin Blanc is a real treat for me.  The wine had been opened and allowed to breathe for an hour prior to serving.  Golden in color.  The nose is light with nice minerality, crushed shells and some salinity.  Much more open on the palate.  There is a very nice tart acidity.  Oranges and lies with underlying minerality.  A nice oily texture.  Tart fruit on the long finish.  Dry.  This wine is chugging along just fine.  It certainly has another five to ten years left and maybe more.  It worked better with some food than on its own.  It went well with roasted veggies in puff pastry.
