This is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. Purple in color with slight ruby swirls. The nose is interesting with clay, black cherries and cassis. Full bodied. On the palate, this is slightly sweet with cassis and cedar. Nice finish. Drinking well now. Drink over the next five to eight years. A nice match with roasted duck.
This is from fruit from the Champoux Vineyard. Ruby/purple in color, mostly opaque and bright. Cassis, graphite, slight burnt rubber and a hint of volatile acidity on the nose. Full bodied. Nice texture. On the palate, cassis with some cedar. Deep and complex. Medium tannins. Long finish. This is showing well and pretty close to peak. No hurry though. Drink over the next ten to twelve years. Better with food. This would work well with Beef Wellington.

Medium bodied. Good acidity. On the palate, tasting a bit tired with dried cherries, but also some fresh cherries. Moderate finish. Certainly enjoyable but drink up. Nice with chili or a stew.

This wine is in a beautiful place right now. Medium gold in color, clear and bright. The nose has grapefruit, slight orange peel, with a slight touch or caramel. Full bodied. Complex. On the palate, quince with slight grapefruit. Good acidity. Long finish. This is great on its own and would be excellent with shellfish. Though it will last long, drink in the next few years to catch at peak.
This white is a blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Macabeu, Vermentino and Marsanne. Light golden in color, clear and bright. The nose is nice with floral notes in addition to limes, and quince. The grape Antão Vaz is believed to be native to Portugal and definitely thrives here in warm dry climates, and is one of the most common grapes in this region. Here it delivers a light, clean and bright acidity leading into lychee, light lemon-lime, guava, apricot, mild resin, wildflower, and lemon candied almonds. The beauty of a good white wine is that the acidity makes it appropriate for a diversity of foods, and this 2021 has an abundance of acidity to work with lighter dishes as well as heavier meals.
