This is a nice value in Cabernet Sauvignon. Purple in color with ruby swirls. The nose is nice with cassis, slight vanilla, dust and spice. Full bodied. Light tannins. On the palate, this is a nice easy drinking Cab. Cassis and black cherries. Moderate finish. Drink over the next few years. A nice with with a (veggie) burger.
This drinks like a cooler climate Cab. Purple in color, opaque and bright. The nose has black cherries, dark chocolate, slight rosemary and spice. Medium bodied. Medium tannins. On the palate, black cherry fruit with a bit of chocolate. This drinks easy. it is young and may improve a bit with time. It should drink well for ten to twelve years. A nice wine with roast beef.
This is still a bit young but rounding into peak form and almost there. With a bit of air, this is drinking quite well. A blend of 95% Cabernet Franc, 4% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Merlot. Purple in color. The nose is great with black cherries, leather, cigar box, slight dark chocolate, cherries and slight spice. On the palate, this has a lush but firm texture. Lots of energy. A gorgeous California Cab as good as just about anything grown in the northern part of the state. 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc and the rest Merlot. This vintage has much less Cabernet Sauvignon than typical. It is in a great spot right now. Young but it has shed its baby fat and is drinking quite well. Purple in color. The nose has cassis, pencil lead, slight tobacco, a bit of chocolate and some cherry notes. On the palate, this has light tannins. Plenty of cassis and cherry fruit with some earthy tobacco notes underneath. Complex. Good balance. Lon
