This is an attractively priced Prosecco that should be popular. It is a blend of 85% Glera, and 15% Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Pale yellow in color, clear and bright with a full mousse of small-ish bubbles. The nose is nice with green apples, slight chalk/minerality and a bit of peach. Medium bodied with good acidity. On the palate, this is semi-sweet (10.5 g/l of residual sugar) with flavors of apple, slight lemons and slight minerality. Refreshing. Good finish. This would be an excellent choice for a party or large gathering. It is nice on its own and should be very food friendly. A nice choice for salty appetizers or even pizza.
