Having recently tried the 2022 (https://www.intowine.com/reviews?region=&varietal=&uid=Loren+Sonkin&scor...) it was great to be able to try the 2023 version. it is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvedre, and Rolle grapes. Salmon pink in color with some orange hues, clear and bright. The nose is great with plenty of force. Cherries, strawberries, pink grapefruits and the same wild herb notes that were in the 2022. Medium bodied. Slightly oily texture. Crisp acidity. On the palate, this is dry. Flavors of cherries, strawberries and slight citrus with a slight clean, herbal notes. Good finish. This is lovely on its own and very food friendly. It would be great with a variety of soft cheeses on the deck. Drink over the next couple of years.
