One of the  better Finger Lakes producers.  HJW Vineyard is about 50 years old.  Pale straw in color, clear and bright.  The nose is deep with aromas of green apples, slight "wet rocks", and a bit of chalkiness.  Medium bodied.  On the palate, this is dry.  Slightly crisp.  Flavors of green apples and minerality.  Some depth.  Good finish.  This is nice on its own but will work with almost any food. This will work well with Pasta Primavera.  Drink over the next seven to ten years.
