People often ask for wine recommendations that won't break the bank.  For decades, the Perbacco bottling has been one of my go to recs.  It drinks well you, it ages reasonably well, it is delicious and works great with food.  The 2022 is no exception.  It is 100% Nebbiolo grapes.  Ruby in color, clear and bright.  The nose has sour cherries, raspberries, hay, slight dust and a hint of rose petal.  Medium bodied.  Medium tannins. Good acidity.  On the palate, flavors of cherries, sour cherries, spice and mint on the finish.  This is nice on its own but better with food.  Pasta Carbonara would work nicely.  It is drinking well now but should age and mature for another eight to twelve years.  Or dink now while waiting on the Barolos.
