This is 98% Petite Manseng with 2% Sauvignon Blanc. While I slightly preferred the Intention, this is outstanding as well. Early Mountain in particular and Virginia in general are really making some exciting wines from Petite Manseng and Sauvignon Blanc. This is light golden in color with just a touch of green hues, clear and bright. The nose is fresh and vibrant with orange zest, slight dried herbal note, powdered ginger and a hint of vanilla. Medium bodied. Creamy texture. Nice balance. On the palate, this is crisp and tasty. Flavors of orange zest, slight herbs, and a touch of ginger-ale. A bit of minerality as well. Long finish. This is nice on its own and will work well with manny foods. It would be nice with Fried Chicken but also a chilled Thai Noodles in Peanut sauce. Drink over the next five to eight years.
