This is yet unreleased but is a spectacular wine. The sample bottle served at the winery was decanted to allow the sulfur to blow off bit. This is a ripe but not over ripe wine that seems fully developed with just a hint of sharp corners at this point. Light golden in color with a touch of green hues. The nose is beautiful with a floral (maybe Edelweiss but probably more like Acacia) nose along with a touch of lemon verbena. Light tannins. Good but balanced acidity. The palate has lemon peel, slight peppery notes and spice. A long finish. Delicious wine that is great on its own, but will be even better with food. It would go really well with a vegetable quiche but also a roasted pork or veal dish. It will undoubtedly improve but is drinking well now and should drink well for twelve to fifteen more years.
