A fifth generation family winery in Sicily that gets the whole family on board.  From Aurelio and Barbara Di Giovanna, Gunther Di Giovanna, Gunther Di Giovanna, and Klaus Di Giovanna, the co-owners to Melissa Di Giovanna, the Sales and Marketing Manager.  The winemaker is Gianfranco Zito. This wine is really nice.  Golden in color, clear and bright.  The nose is intriguing with minerals, slight pineapple and sea air.  Medium bodied.  Slightly oily texture.  On the palate, grapefruits and crushed sea shells.  Good acidity.  Long finish.  This wine is made for food.  It is nice on its own, too.  Sea food would be perfect.  Drink over the next few years.
