Nosiola is an ancient grape grown in Trentino. This version is fermented on its skins and raised in Amphorae for eight months. Light golden in color, clear and bright. The nose is lovely with peach and orange. There is also a bit of hazelnut. Medium bodied. Good acidity. On the palate, this has depth and complexity. Flavor of a slightly sour peach with some minerality. Long finish. A fascinating wine that seemed fresh and vibrant. It is great on its own and might improve with the right food. It would work with preserved meats such as speck or Tofu marinated in a Soy Sauce vinaigrette. Drink over the next few years.
