This is the first time that I have tried this BdM producer and found it very enjoyable.  It seems a bit modern and fruit forward but that is certainly reflective of that excellent vintage (hot summer, long dry harvest) that led to ripe wines.  Garnet in color with some ruby hues, partially opaque and bright.  The nose is very nice with carries, dust, slight black cherries, tea leaves and spice.  Full bodied.  Medium tannins.  Great acidity.  On the palate, this is deep with flavors of cherries and black cherries.  Nice texture.  This is nice on its own but better with food.  It would work well with Eggplant Parmesan.  Drink over the next eight to twelve years.
