2016 Tommaso Bussola L'Errante Vino Rosso IGT, Italy, Veneto, Wine Review

Tasted at the winery.  Bottle # 0247 of 3224.  This is a Bordeaux blend of 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep ruby in color, clear and bright.  The nose is great with black cherries, slight cassis, slight red licorice, cigar box, fresh tobacco and spice.  Full bodied.  There is some residual sugar; 20g/ltr.  Medium tannins.  On the palate, flavors of cherries, slight black raspberries and spice.  Very complex.  Long finish.  Having a touch a sweetness is interesting and it does take some time to adjust but this is delicious on its own.  It should go with many foods especially those with a bit of caramelization.  Pasta with grilled veggies could be interesting.  Drink over the next ten to fifteen years.
