This is an under $20 bottle of California Cab. Well worth the price in the grand scheme of things. Purple/ruby in color. The nose has some cassis, dust and cedar. On the palate, this is easy drinking. Not complex but tasty and works with food. Probably needs to be drunk in the next few years.
This is a very nice value for those looking for a reasonably priced California Cabernet. It is from Paso Robles, an area generally not known for its Cabs. Dark ruby in color. The nose has cherries and slight kirsch notes along with some baking spice and a bit of vanilla. On the palate, this is medium bodied with good acidity. Cherries with some oak. Medium finish. This will improve over the next couple of years as it integrates and should be good for five to seven after that. A nice with with grilled burgers.
This is a $12 Cab. There is certainly value here. Purple in color. The nose has black cherries and black raspberries. Slight spice. On the palate, this is a bit sweet and a bit syrupy with black raspberry fruit. Drinkable. Meant for enjoyable wine and a lower price.
