16.5%abv. This is a blend of Corvina 65%, Corvinone 15%, Rondinella 10%, and Oseleta 10%. Deep garnet in color, ruby at the rim, mostly opaque and bright. The nose has cherries, raisins, char, spice, chocolate, slight cedar and black licorice. Complex and big. Full bodied. Firm tannins. On the palate the has cherries, some black cherries, and fennel. Long finish. This wine is in a great place right now. It should drink well for another ten years. Great on its own, this would be great with venison or other slow cooked meat dishes.

This is a very nice Amarone that is not crazy expensive if one shops around. It is a step up from their "Pasqua" bottling. This is a blend of 65% Corvina, 25% Rondinella, 5% Corvinone, and 5% Negrara. It has a true Amarone quality about it. Deep ruby in color, mostly clear and bright. The nose has cherries, spice, slight dark chocolate and a hint of vanilla. Full bodied. This wine is dry but with a mouthfeel that is slightly viscous and seems like it would be sweet. This wine comes from north east Italy. It is a blend of Corvina, Rondinella, Corvinone and Negrara grapes. To make a Ripasso styles wine, the wine, after fermentation, is poured over the leftover pomace from the Amarone. This gives the wine a bit more stuffing than a regular Valpolicella. Ruby in color, clear and bright. The nose has cherries, Heering liqueur, and spice. Medium to full bodied. Medium tannins. Good acidity. This is a blend of 50% Corvina, 30% Corvinone, 15% Rondinella and 5% Oseleta. Garnet in color, darker at the core, clear and bright. The nose is nice with cherries, black cherries, roasted herbs and slight leather notes. Full bodied. Light tannins. On the palate, this has black cherries, red currants and spice. Nice finish. It is drinking well now and should continue to drink well for another ten to fifteen years. It drinks well on its own and will work well with food such as pasta bolognaise.

Very impressive showing. This is a blend of 80% Corvina, 10% Rondinella and 10% Oseleta and Croatina. Garnet in color, clear and bright. The nose has cherries, red currants, roasted herbs, dust and slight bitters note. Full bodied. Medium tannins. On the palate, Cherries, plums, red currants with some spice. Long finish. This is deep and complex. Drinking well now, it should continue to so do for twelve to fifteen years. Very nice on its own, but even better with food. It went great with a pasta fagioli.

This is a lovely Amarone that delivers a lot for its price point. It is a blend of 85% Corvina and 15% Rondinella. Garnet in color, mostly opaque and bright. The nose is great with black cherries, plums, dried cherries, slight char and roasted herbs. Full bodied. Medium tannins. On the palate, lots of fresh and dried cherries with some underlying roasted herbs and spice. Nice balance.
