Golden in color, clear. The nose has lemons and slight apple cider. Full bodied. On the palate, the apple cider notes are stronger. Nice texture. Some acid. Mature if a bit past. These should be consumed sooner than later. It will work better with some lighter but rich foods. Crab or lobster would work.
Ordered off the list at Craig's in Hollywood, CA. Light golden in color, clear and bright. The nose is nice with lemon, lime, slight floral note and slight smoke. Full bodied. Creamy texture. On the palate, this is dry as a bone. Delicious. Lemons with slight lime. Good acidity. Long finish. Very food friendly. Went great with a Veggie Burger. Drink over the next ten years.
This is a winery that I have found to be hit or miss for my personal tastes. Sometimes the oak can be a bit much and other times the wines are wonderful. This one was quite good although it pushed my tolerance for oak. Medium golden in color. The nose has vanilla, lumber, peaches and floral notes (white?). I love this bottling and vintage. The oak treatment is perfect for the fruit. Golden in color. The nose is clean with peach and slight ginger. Creamy texture. On the palate, apples, peaches and just a bit sweetness. Deep and complex. Long finish. Great acidity. Worked great with food but was delicious on its own. Very impressive.
Light golden in color. The nose has spice and lemons. On the palate, this has a loose/fat texture but at the same time a crisp acidity. While a bit more precision is nice, the overall package is very pleasing. Nice lemons notes on the palate. Good finish. Clean and very drinkable Chardonnay. Worked well with food.
