This is their top bottling made only in selected vintages (no 2012 or 2013) and is a spectacular wine.  It is a blend of 80% Tempranillo, and 20% Grenache, Mazuelo (Carignan) and Graciano.  Purple in color, mostly opaque and bright.  The nose is great with dusty cherries, black cherries, slight dill, vanilla, spice and slight chocolate.  Full bodied.  Medium to firm tannins.  Great balance and acidity.  On the palate, juicy cherries, some black cherries, some vanilla, coffee beans and char.  Complex and deep.  Long finish.  This is drinking well now and may yet improve.  It should have another ten to fifteen years left in it.  Great on its own, this is better with food.  It will work well with grilled meats or root vegetables.
