This is a hearty red wine from northern Italy made with Teroldego grapes. The winery is currently managed by the mother and daughter team of Gabriella and Elisabetta Foradori.  Purple in color with some garnet hues, opaque and  bright.  The nose has black cherries, slight plums, spice and char.  Full bodied.  Good acidity.  Medium tannins.  On the palate, lots of black cherries and cherries with some underlying spice and slight earthiness.  Deep and complex.  Nice finish.  This is just coming into its own now and should continue to drink well for another decade or so.  Nice on its own, but better with food.  A hearty pasta with a cream sauce would be great.
