The Paraduxx label was formed in order to showcase blended wines from Napa. From Atlas Peak this is comprised of 67% sangiovese and 33% sabernet sauvignon. An abundance of flavors are evident here including blackberry huckleberry, boysenberry blueberry, black cherry and sandalwood. But there’s also an earthy element, notes of sage vanilla and alpine grasses. The tannins and acidity are strong enough to support the wine to give it a lengthy finish as well as an enjoyable drinking experience. Aged 18 months in new French oak barrels, half of which were new, means the oak is in support of the fruit.
