Tasted at the winery in August, 2022. Disgorgement was in March, 2022. A blend of Pinot Noir, Zweigelt and St. Laurent that were vinified separately in which they went thru malolactic fermentation. The dosage was 8-9 grams. 11.5% abv. Salmon pink in color with a nice mousse of smaller bubbles. The nose is nice with cranberries, strawberries, slight chalky minerality. Medium bodied. Good acidity. On the palate, cherries, and slight rhubarb notes with some spice. Excellent finish. This drinks well on its own but would be better with food. This would go well with salmon off the grill but also a mushroom pasta with a cream sauce. Drink over the next five years.
