An excellent bottle of Champagne. Light golden in color with a nice mousse of fine bubbles. On the palate, this has red apples, slight ginger, minerals and a bit of saline. On the palate, this is a bigger wine. More so than prior vintages which is not bad or good. It is still a very crisp wine which is a good thing. Slight citrus, slight green apples and lots of minerality. A long/tart finish. This will go with a wide variety of foods and is delicious on its own. At $60 per bottle, this is fairly priced.

Great showing for this wine. I did not find a vintage code that was decipherable on the label so it is unclear what vintages made this bottle (LALBU). It was excellent. Medium deep ruby/orange in color, clear and bright. A thick mousse with lots of tiny bubbles. On the nose, this is very pretty with raspberries and strawberries. Those flavors carry thru to the palate with some apple added in along with underlying minerality. Very lively acidity. Nice finish. This wine should be consumed in the next five years or so. It will work with just about any food from pop corn to BBQ Ribs.

First time trying this vintage and it is awesome if still young. I hate to call it elegant as that is not correct, but it is the kind of wine that fans of the "less is more" philosophy of wine will love. Light silvery/gold in color, clear and bright with a lot of tiny bubbles. The nose is great with green apples, minerality, slight lanolin and chalk. But it is not big, just intense. 100% Chardonnay from two parcels in Bouzy (Le Mont de Tours and Les Ramonnieres) and Grauves. Pale gold in color with a nice mousse of small bubbles. The nose is very clean with some red apples and a bit of yeasty dough. Medium bodied. Good acidity. On the palate, this is crisp and leaner in style. Granny smith apples with some minerality. Long finish. Very nice on its own, this is very food friendly. It was a nice foil to baked tofu made in a "Buffalo Wings" style. Drink over the next few years.

Opened to celebrate my son's 23rd birthday. Light golden in color, clear and bright. The mousse is thick with lots of tiny bubbles. On the nose, this is mostly mineral driven but there are some green apples and slight toast. On the palate, this veers toward the leaner side but not all the way. Green apple fruit with a nice minerality. Good acid. Long finish. Went great with a shaved mushroom with lemon juice salad.

Golden in color with a lot of very small bubbles, clear and bright. The nose is very nice with chalk, toast, and slight marzipan. Full bodied. Good balance. On the palate, this is crisp with a very, very slight sweetness to it. Chalk and slight dried citrus notes. Long finish. This has plenty of depth. Drinking well now, this should drink well for seven to ten more years. It is very food versatile and should go with just about any food. It went very well with a spicy vegetarian pizza.
