This is non vintage but the Lot No. is L221095. It is a delightful, low alcohol (5%) low alcohol wine from Italy. This year's version seems a bit rounder and more fruity than prior versions. Green/gold in color. The nose has some peach with minerality and slight citrus. Frothy. Lightly sweet. The palate again has some peach with a nice crispness to balance the sweet. Easy to drink and tasty. This will work well with fried appetizers or on its own. Drink over the next couple of years.

This is a Moscato from Italy. It is made in Frizzante style meaning lightly sparkling. This is made to be a fun, easy drinking wine. It comes in a colorful, attractively packaged bottle. At 5% alcohol, it is very easy to drink. Silvery/gold/green in color, clear and bright. A nice frothiness to it in the glass. The nose has minerality, seltzer and citrus (lime). On the palate, this is sweet with minerals and lime. Moderate finish. This is a fun wine that drinks easily on its own and will work well with lighter foods. Fun.

This is another fun wine from this producer. It comes in attractive packaging although the screw top actually has a tiny leak in it and left a small pool in the fridge. No worries, the wine was sound and it is only the second time I have seen such a closure fail. This is a lightly sparkling (frizzante) rose that checks in at 5.5% abv. It is a blend of Moscato and Brachetto grapes. Pale salmon in color a white froth. The nose has pink grapefruit and strawberries and slight simple syrup notes. Medium bodied. On the palate, this is semi-sweet with nice watermelon notes. Great acidity

This is one of those wines that remind me that wine doesn't always need to be serious. This is a fun wine that is quite tasty. It is "frizzante" or lightly sparkling and it is also sweet. The grapes come from the Piedmont in northern Italy and include Moscato Bianco and Brachetto. At 5.5%abv, this is easy drinking and refreshing. Pale pink in color with a nice mousse of small bubbles. Moscato d'Asti deserves more respect. It can be an excellent dessert wine that offers up enjoyment and yes, some level of contemplation. Slightly sparkling and sweet, and not expensive can be very good things if done well. This one offers up all of those. Pale yellow in color with just a bit of frizzante. The nose has peaches, orange blossoms, and just a hint of fresh thyme. Creamy texture. On the palate, this is sweet but nowhere near cloying. Good acidity. Nice finish. And low alcohol to boot (6%). It is made to consumed within the first year or two. It is great on its own and
