Greenwing is part of the Duckhorn portfolio of wines. This is 96% Pinot Grigio and 4% Pinot Blanc. Light golden in color, clear and bright. The nose is nice with white peach, slight minerality and a hint of lemon/citrus. Light to medium bodied. Slightly viscous. On the palate, the lemon comes out a bit more along with a slight steely/mineral note. Moderate finish. This is an easy drinking-easy going white wine that is nice on its own and will work with lighter meals. Caprese Salad would work well. Drink over the next year or two. Good value.

CLE Urban Winery is located in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. They are essentially a wine bar that gets juice from California and other places and makes their own wine which is sold at the bar. The labels feature different scenes of Cleveland. This one features the brick street that is the heart of Cleveland's Italian community. The wine is light golden in color. Made with grape grown in California and shipped to Ohio. Pale golden in color with a slight copper tinge to it. Clear and bright. The nose is a bit reticent at first, but opens to show Cantaloupe, along with a light lemon note and some minerality. Light to medium bodied. On the palate, this has a nice, slightly oily texture. Melons with some lemon. Nice, easy finish. This drinks nicely on its own, but a bit better with food. It went well with stuffed mushrooms. Drink over the next couple of years.

This is an inexpensive Pinot Grigio from Washington state. It costs about $10 which is fair. Light white gold/copper in color. The nose is light but mostly minerals. Easy drinking although it finishes bitter. Has some acidity. If this is the option at a party, it is fine. Drink now.
