What a lovely white wine and tremendous value. This is made from Viura grapes. The name of this wine was first registered in 1915 making it the oldest registered white wine in Spain. Light golden in color, clear and bright. The nose is nice with lemons, slight (white) floral notes, and a hint of pineapple. Light to medium bodied. Nice acidity. On the palate, this is refreshing with flavors of lemons, a touch of salinity and slight pineapple. Long finish. This drinks well on its own and will work nicely with lighter foods. A seafood Paella would work well but also a Vegetable Risotto. Drink over the next few years.
