This is a blend of Mourvedre and Cinsault from Bandol (Provence), France. Deep salmon pink in color, clear and bright. The nose is deep with aromas of watermelon and what I can best describe as "canned corn". Great texture. Low acidity. On the palate, a slightly bitter note with flavors of cranberries and cherries. The finish is a bit clipped. Perhaps this is starting to show some age/development. Others tasting with me seemed to enjoy this more than I. That said, it has more "seriousness" which is not something I look for in a Rose. This went well with assorted cheeses and was better with food. Drink over the next year or two.
