This is very young, but we gave it about six hours of air as we really wanted to try a bottle.  While it will get better, this was excellent!  Inky purple in color, opaque and bright.  The nose is deep, correct and enticing.  Aromas of cassis, young leather, baking spice, slight plums and slight herbal note (sorrel?).  Full bodied.  Firm tannins.  Nice energy and balance.  On the palate, this is big and bold and delicious.  Flavors of cassis, plums, slight graphite, with some char and spice.  Long finish.  This needs another three to five years (or long decants) and then should drink well for another twenty years. It is great on its own and will work with big, fatty meats or fowl and of course, roasted veggies.  Once mature this will likely score in the high 90's.
