This is made from the Zibibbo grape which is also known as Muscat of Alexandria. It was very impressive and proved to be a group favorite (and mine) at a recent tasting. Light golden in color, clear and bright. The nose is beautiful with orange zest, and slight lychees. Slightly oily texture (in a good way). Medium bodied. On the palate, this is dry with flavors of "tangy" oranges, slight tangerine and just a hint of herbal notes with underlying minerality. It is both seductive and delicious. Long finish. This is delicious on its own and would work well with lighter foods. A nice choice would be grilled Zuchini. Drink over the next few years.
