2023 Château Pégau Côtes du Rhône Blanc Cuvée Lône, France, Wine Review

One of my favorite red producers, I have very little experience with their white wines so this was a pleasure to try.  It is a blend of 40% Clairette, 30% Bourboulenc, 20% Grenache Blanc, and 10% Ugni Blanc.  Golden in color with some green hues, clear and bright.  The nose is nice.  Clean with melon, lemons and slight pears.  With air a slight floral tone emerges.  Full bodied.  Good balance.  On the palate, slightly tart apples with some melon.  easy drinking.  Good finish.  This is a satisfying wine that is drinking well and should for another three to five years.  It should be very food friendly and would be a nice choice with a  Veggie or Turkey Burger.
