Not quite as good as the 2019 but maybe it will still get there. A blend of 82% Syrah, 16% Grenache and 2% Mourvedre. Purple in color, mostly opaque and bright. The nose is good with black raspberries, a nice earthy note, black pepper, slight roasted herbs and spice. Medium bodied. Firm tannins. Good acidity. On the palate, black raspberries, black pepper and char. Some complexity. Long finish. This could use a couple of years in a good cellar and then drink for ten to fifteen after that. it is nice on its own and will work well with many foods. It would work well with just about everything on a Charcuterie board.
