This is Cabernet Sauvignon from Mt. Veeder and St. Helena.  Bottle #1313 (sounds lucky).  Purple in color, opaque and bright.  The nose has cassis, coffee beans, slight dark chocolate and a slight violet note.  Full bodied.  Firm tannins.  Pop and pour, this is very tight.  It took a couple hours to really open up and a glass saved for the next day was even better.  Cassis, chocolate and slight coffee.  Long finish.  These need a few more years of cellaring or decant for five hours.  Drink over the next twenty.  This is very concentrated.  It will improve.  Nice on its own right now, as it ages it will be much better with food.
