2021 Bernhard Ott Grüner Veltliner 1ÖTW Ried Stein Engabrunn, Austria, Kamptal, Wine Review

Apparently from a very rocky (Gneiss) vineyard.  Light silvery, green/gold in color, clear and bright.  The nose is smoky with limes, and peach.  Some tasters found the nose to be more like burnt rubber.  Medium bodied.  Nice balance.  On the palate, tart limes with slight salinity.  Good finish.  This has some depth to it and it seems to be ageing well.  It should go another five to eight years at this rate.  It drinks well on its own and should work with many foods.  It should go well with Schnitzel or Veal Chops.
