2020 Andremily Grenache, USA, California, Wine Review

This is 78% Grenache, 12% Mourvedre and 10% Syrah.  It is a large styled, fruit forward wine that will be perfect for those who like this style.  Purple in color, opaque and bright.  The nose is big with black raspberries, blueberries, black pepper, char, Indian spices and slight floral note.  Full bodied.  Light to medium tannins.  On the palate, this is youthful and delicious.  So much going in terms of flavors.  Black raspberries, black cherries, blue berries, plums with some minerality and a hint of earthiness.  Long finish.  This drinks great on its own and will need big food to match.  It would work nicely with Vindaloo.  Drink over the next ten to fifteen years.
