This is the extended ageing release from Andremily. It saw an additional year in bottle prior to release. 65% Syrah, 22% Mourvèdre, 10% Grenache and 3% Viognier. Inky purple in color, opaque and shimmering bright. The nose is deep (and excellent) with black raspberries, plums, black cherries, blueberries, coffee, black pepper, slight chocolate and roasted herbs. Full bodied. Medium to firm tannins. Great energy and balance. On the palate, this is young, but open and delicious. Flavors of black raspberries, blueberries, black cherries, black pepper and slight chocolate. Long finish. This is delicious on its own. It is a big wine so foods need to be able to not be overpowered. Pulled pork would be a good choice. Drink over the next twenty years.
