This is a proprietary blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot from Mendocino, California.  The wine is made from organic grapes.  Purple in color, mostly opaque and bright.  The nose has black raspberries, plums, black cherries, and slight spice. Full bodied with firm tannins.  On the palate, more black cherry, but some black raspberries.  A bit of bitters on the finish.  This is young and needs time.  It improved quite a bit with a few hours of air.  Ideally, cellar for five years and drink for ten to fifteen after that.  Nice on its own, but once it opened, this will work well with bigger foods.  It went very well with "General Tso's Tofu".
