This is a blend of Mourvedre, Carignan, Grenache and Syrah. This is a quite good expression of Rhone varietals from California. Deep ruby in color, mostly opaque and bright. The nose has black raspberries, plums, black pepper and slight nutmeg. Full bodied. Medium tannins. On the palate, this is tasty with bright acidity. Black raspberries and black cherries with some underlying char. Black pepper note on the finish. Drinking well now, this should go another seven to ten years. Nice on its own, this will work nicely with a good (veggie) Burger. Nice value.

Such a great value! This is a blend of 43% Syrah, 28% Grenache, 23% Mourvedre, and 6% Counoise. This is garnet in color, mostly opaque and bright. The nose is great with black raspberries, black cherries, roasted meats and earthiness. Medium to full bodied. Light tannins. Good acidity. On the palate, this is drinking quite well. Varietal complexity with an excellent texture. Flavors of black raspberries, black cherries and some plums. Nice finish. This is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Petite Sirah from various vineyards across California. Purple in color, ruby at the rim, opaque and bright. The e nose has black cherries, black raspberries and some smoke. Full bodied. Firm tannins. Nice texture. On the palate, this is ripe but short of cloying. It has a balance to it that makes it easy to drink and very tasty. Black raspberries with underlying char. Alcohol is noticeable on the finish. This probably drinks better on its own than with food but would work with a burger. Drink over the next five years.

It is a blend of 43% Grenache, 33% Syrah, 19% Counoise, 5% Mourvedre and seems to be their counter-part to a high level Cotes du Rhone. Deep ruby in color, mostly opaque and bright. The nose is great with black cherries, black raspberries, black pepper, char, plums and spice. Full bodied. Medium to firm tannins. Lively acidity. This is always a great value. it is a blend of 37% Syrah, 35% Grenache, 23% Mourvedre, and 3% Counoise. Tablas Creek sells vines and then sources back some of the grapes from those vineyards to make this wine. Brilliant and what a way to be a good neighbor. The eight vineyards are listed on the label (plus 4% of Tablas Creek grapes). Screw capped. Garnet in color, mostly clear and bright. This is quite young but still delicious. It is a blend of 64% Grenache, 16% Mataro, 14% Syrah, 6% Carignan. Deep purple in color, ruby at the rim, opaque and bright. The nose is nice with black cherries, black raspberries, slight blueberries, some black licorice, floral notes and spice. Full bodied. Vibrant with lots of energy. On the palate, loads of black raspberries and black cherries with medium tannins. It takes some time to open in the glass but then shows a nice minerality. Delicious. Long finish. This needs another seven to ten years to hits its peak but is delicious today
