Light golden in color. The nose has some grapefruit on it along with a bit of lemons and slight apple note. On the palate, this has tons of grapefruit. Great acidity. Long finish. A very unique take on Chardonnay in many ways more resembling a Sauvignon Blanc. Would work with a wide variety of foods. Porbably best drunk in the next few years.
As the name says, this is an unoaked Chardonnay from the Finger Lakes region of New York. This is a cooler climate region and the resulting wine will be a great alternative for those oakaphobes or people just looking for something a bit different. Light golden in color, some green hues, clear and bright. The nose is clean with slight grapefruits, some minerality and a bit of "wet rocks". Medium bodied.
