This is their Estate St. Joseph.  It is a very serious wine but at the same time drinking very well right now.  Purple in color, opaque and bright.  The nose is dusty with black raspberries, a bit earthy and some clay.  It is delicious.  Great texture.  Black raspberry fruit, black pepper, and charred earth.  Great acidity.  Long finish.  This will go with roasted meats quite well.  It should have a bit of upside as I don't think it will reach it's peak for about five years, and be good for another decade after that.  $70 is not cheap, but this is world class and would be double if the label said Hermitage or even Cornas.
