Purple in color, opaque and bright. Thee nose is powerful with black raspberries, black olives and spice. Full bodied. Medium tannins. On the palate, this is concentrated. Lots of black raspberry fruit with underlying minerality. Good acidity. Nice finish.

This should continue to improve for another three to five years and drink well for ten to twelve more after that. This drinks well on its own and even better with food. Stews or chili is a nice choice.

What a great value. This wine is in a wonderful place right now. Still youthful with some upside but delicious. Purple in color. The nose has black raspberries, black olives, slight bacon fact and slight violets. On the palate, there is a lot of fruit here. Black raspberries. Also plenty of depth. It unwinds in the glass with layers of fruit and earth. Delicious. It got better and better with air. Worked grteat with food. A Fass Selection wine.
