From Magnum.  This is a blend of 58% Cabernet Franc and 42% Merlot from Napa.  This bottle was in a great place so 750's are likely a bit more advanced.  Purple in color, ruby at the rim, opaque and bright.  The nose is complex with black cherries, cherries, cigar box, chocolate, fresh tobacco, slight herbal note and spice.  Full bodied.  Medium tannins.  On the palate, this is complex and delicious.  The layers unwind in the glass.  Flavors of black cherries, cherries, chocolate and some earthiness/florest floor.  Long finish.  This drinks great on its own and will work for many foods.  It should be very nice with Roasted Fowl.  Drink over the next seven to ten years.
