Always a pleasure to drink this wine. Light golden in color, tons of very tiny bubbles, clear and bright. The nose is great. Toasty with some lemons and a lot of minerality. Full bodied. On the palate, this is delicious. Lemons, minerals with plenty of complexity and depth. Long finish. This should drink well over the next fifteen to twenty years. It will go with practically any food. Popcorn is always a great choice with great Champagne.

Always a pleasure to try this wine although it underperformed expectations for the wine in this vintage. Golden in color, clear and bright. Nice mousse with lots of tiny bubbles. The nose is toasty with slight lemon and a hint of smoke. Medium bodied. On the palate, this has tart acidity. Green apples with slight lemon. Very long on the finish. This is very tasty. It seems to be about at peak or at least turning from a young vibrant Champagne to a mature one. Drink over the next ten years unless you like them old. A phenomenal wine in a phenomenal vintage. Dom really nailed it in 2008. Light green/gold in color with lots of tiny bubbles. The nose has lemons, brioche, and slight smoke. On the palate, this is seamless. Smooth. Tart lemons, chalk and crushed rocks. A very long finish. Delicious and deep. This is still young with lots of energy. It should drink like this for another ten years before starting to mature for another twenty to thirty after that. It will work with virtually any food. An incredible wine.

Always a pleasure to drink Dom. Amazing that they can make so many bottles at such a high quality level. For me, this is not up to the 2002 or 2008 but still a fantastic wine. Light golden in color with a nice mousse of small bubbles. The nose has toast, some citrus and a touch of chalk. Full bodied. Great acidity. On the palate, some lemon peel with smoke and minerals. Spectacular Champagne. The P2 series is held back for almost 15 years before being released. This one is from the excellent 2002 vintage. The extra time has served to make this a bit fuller and rounder but with all the verve of the original release. Golden in color with some green hues. A lovely stream of tiny bubbles in the fluted glass. On the nose, this is smoky with lemons, salinity and spice (ground coriander?). Full bodied. This is the luxury cuvee of Moet & Chandon. It might be the most well known of all of the luxury cuvees. The amazing thing is that they make 5 million bottles of this wine every time they produce it. Of course, it is not produced in every vintage. They have made a 2000, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2009 and now this 2008. So, it is made almost every year.
