Nice to revisit this. It is just about at peak at age 14. No hurry though. Purple in color, opaque and bright. The nose has cassis, cedar, some earthiness and a hint of graphite. Full bodied. Medium tannins. On the palate, this is delicious. Cassis with some earthiness. Layers that unwind in the glass. Long finish. It worked well with a variety of Hungarian foods.
This is not their Grand Vin but "just" the regular blend. Not sure what that says more about, this wine of their top wines. It is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon of different clones of Cabernet. This was made by the late Denis Malbec. Inky purple in color. The nose is great with cassis, slight pencil lead, chocolate and slight roasted herbs. On the palate, this has a beautiful, almost seamless texture. Plenty of depth. Cassis fruit with slight dry tobacco and earthy notes. Also a bit of chocolate. Long finish. Light tannins. This is their middle level Cabernet. Purple in color, some ruby at the rim, opaque and bright. The nose is great with cassis, coffee, graphite, dark chocolate and spice. Full bodied. Medium tannins. Good balance. On the palate, this is seriously good. Lush cassis, graphite and spice. This drinking great and should continue for ten to fifteen more years. Great on its own, it will work great with Prime Rib.

The nose is expressive with cassis, black cherries, dark chocolate and slight coffee. Full bodied. Rich texture with great balance. Medium tannins. On the palate, this is complex and layered.
