Interestingly, this Champagne is labelled as Grand Cru Chardonnay as opposed to Blanc de Blancs.  In any event, it is 100% Chardonnay.  Golden in color with some green hues, clear and bright with a nice mousse of tiny bubbles.  The has some seltzer, brioche and slight schist/minerality.  Full bodied.  Nice acidity.  On the palate, this has plenty of lemon juice notes, slight lemon peel along with a hint of almonds.  Some depth which kept increasing with air.  Long  finish.  This is very food friendly and will work with most foods.  It would work nicely with richer dishes such as "Marry Me Chicken".  Drink over the next five to ten years.
