The entry level Gruner in the Mosel collection. That is why the label contains the phrase "The Spark". Light silvery green/gold in color, clear and bright. The nose is nice; dusty (another tasty described it as flinty), with limes and Granny Smith apples. Slightly oily texture. The palate is a bit more boring than the nose. A slight apple note but mostly just clean. Perhaps this has just faded and a more recent vintage would show better. It drinks easy and well enough on its own. It will work with foods but might get over powered. Drink now.
