This is a blend of 50% Cinsault, 35% Syrah, and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon from Lebanon.  If tasting blind I would guess Cotes du Rhone, and, a good one at that.  At a recent tasting of Musar wines, we all were impressed at how much this wine delivered.  Purple in  color with some ruby  hues, opaque and bright.  The nose has black raspberries, plums, a bit of reduction (the Syrah?), and black pepper.  Medium to full bodied.  Light tannins.  On the palate, the Syrah seems to dominate but there is some varietal complexity.  Flavors of black raspberries, black pepper, plums, slight black cherries, and wild herbs.  Some depth.  Nice finish.  This is tasty on its own and would work with many foods.  It would work well with grilled meats or fowl.  Drink over the next five to eight years.
