Tasted at the winery.  The wine is made from 3 south-facing steep slope vineyards in Seftenberg with mica schist soils. The Nigl's consider them to be almost identical with the same gradient, same soils, and same microclimates.  Silvery/medium gold in color.  The nose is nice with peaches and some minerality.  Medium bodied.  On the palate, peaches with minerality and slight salinity.  Very concentrated.  Long finish.  Delicious.  Still young, this needs a few more years to round out.  It should drink well for twelve to fifteen years.  It is great on its own and also very food friendly.  A nice choice for Thai foods.
