Arguably the best wine out of Chile (and with a long track record). A blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, 1% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot. This is young and it took some time to open and then kept getting better all night. Garnet in color, opaque but a bit flat. The nose is deep and complex with cherries, black cherries, slight mint, char and sandalwood. Full bodied. Great lush creamy texture. Firm tannins. This is a big wine and needs air. Long finish. Just a beautiful wine that still needs at least five years in the cellar. Drink over the next twenty years.
