This is 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petite Verdot from Chile. Purple at its core, Ruby around a wide rim, mostly opaque and bright in the glass. THe nose has black cherries, slight mint, slight graphite and a bit of char. Full bodied. Medium tannins. On the palate, this drinks very smoothly. The wine is youthful but getting close to maturity at age 10. Flavors of black cherries, cherries, slight herbal note and char. Good finish. This is very nice on its own and would work well with braised meat or other slow cooked dishes. Drink over the next five to ten years.
